She also showed us a few shops with artisan goods, such as knives and traditional Nara sweets (persimmon cakes!). Lunch was also filling, and the restaurant was super accommodating for the member of our group who is allergic to fish. At the end of the tour, our guide also recommended to us a traditional place to get mochi, as well as her favorite kakigori shop. But the best part…”
