“The logistical part of the trip was well-done - Osake to Hiroshima by subway, train and bus. The tour guide was not good. She didn't have equipment to guide 34 tourists and had to shout to be heard in a crowded venue. Her commentary was trite and unconnected - for such a historical site we were hoping for a tour with facts about how the Pacific War started generally and events leading up to the atomic bombing, as well as aftermath. She just didn't deliver a good tour and she needed equipment for such a large group. Too expensive for what was delivered.”

“I really enjoyed this tour. Seeing the Peace Memorial in Hiroshima was moving, and our guide explained the history in a way that was easy to understand. I also loved walking around Miyajima Island and taking photos of the floating torii gate—it was even more beautiful than I expected. Traveling by train made the day feel relaxed and comfortable.”
